I haven’t really talked about my hair, hair products, or hair in general on here and that’s because I am super lazy with my hair. I am starting to put more effort in but I think because my hair is fine and naturally wavy, long, and thick — it’s hard to keep it not looking like a birds nest.
IGK Beach Club Texture Spray – I have never used a texturizing spray before but I am obsessed. It’s like magic in a bottle. I hate having to put things on my hands to rub in to my hair. I just hate how it feels on my hands, and usually, even with sprays — they leave an oily residue and you have to rub in anyway…but woah! this stuff literally requires no hand contact. I haven’t used it with damp hair yet, but I use it when my hair is completely dry, at the roots, where I wouldn’t mind some lift and it’s like actually being in a hair commercial where one minute you have dry, frizzy or flat hair and the next it’s big and perfect. If you love looking like an 80’s glammer, then you’d love this stuff. Perfect for the lazy souls like me : )
IGK Coconut Oil Gel – I think calling this a gel is misleading. Most of us probably think of gel as a product to hold things in firm position, but this is actually a moisturizer/ leave-in conditioner (that moisturizes…hehe). What I really love about this stuff is that it doesn’t make my hair feel oily or heavy. It is easily absorbed and leaves my hair feeling rich and soft.
Smoke & Mirrors Conditioning Cleansing Oil – I used this stuff wrong the first time, go figure. I used in on dry hair and left it in, thinking it was a leave-in. It seemed fine, didn’t make me feel oily…but it turns out this takes the place of your shampoo AND conditioner. What? How can that be? Well…let me tell you. You really don’t need shampoo & conditioner is you have this dime in your hands. This works so much better than any shampoo or conditioner I have ever used. It not only cleanses but really does feel like I have moisture in my hair at all times. Love this stuff!
The best things about IGK hair products, are for higher-end quality products they are actually pretty affordable. You’re looking at $20-$30 for every product they have & a little goes a long way with this stuff and if you have short & thin hair, you could probably use even less. The packaging is gorgeous. The scents are absurd. If you love how your hair smells after leaving the salon, you’d love this stuff. The best part is that their products are vegan and cruelty-free and that’s my jam.
