I grew up playing in the swamplands, dancing under spanish moss. I am an only child and was the only child in my family. So making up stories inside my head was always my first source of happiness. That eventually grew as an escape from hardships I had in my life, and still to this day I hold a tight grip on my wild imagination. I graduated with a BFA in Filmmaking, took a couple gap years for real life experience (aka had to pay the bills) and am now in the process of applying to grad school. Writing is the only thing that makes absolute sense to me and photography is a hobby that allows me to be present in moments otherwise unappreciated. Both, to me, are pure forms of honest communication, raw storytelling, and a journey of ever growing self-awareness.
I always carry a book, journal, and camera with me as they are now a part of my identity.
A blog was a natural and perfect place for all of my passions…writing, photography, & design. At first, I thought of it only as a tool for branding. I took it seriously & with doing my own research into the blogging world and with my knowledge & experience in marketing — I realized that the best and quickest way to gain traffic was to find my niche and stick to it. I tried that for quite some time, but became frustrated and bored with only focusing on one thing. I am interested in so much more than just that one thing. I’m interested in what’s going on around the globe, in my country, and in my communities, but I am also interested in a healthy lifestyle & blends of tea.
No one fits in a perfect box, so why should we even try?
This blog is a place where I can cultivate all of my creative passions, share my experiences, and share lovely things from other artists.
I also offer my own services & ideas to all things creative, whether it be branding, media projects, project collaborations, or featured posts.
